Youth and Families

There are various activities in the benefice for children and young people.

Puddle Ducklings meets on the first Thursday of the month from 12:30-2:30 pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Fordingbridge, for fun, games, fellowship and stories with other children aged 0-5 and their grown ups. Bring your packed lunches to enjoy whilst you chat together. Refreshments will be served. NB. there is no Puddle Ducklings meeting during August.

Messy Church@Fordingbridge currently meets on the third Thursday of the month from 3:30-5.30pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Fordingbridge. Messy Church@Fordingbridge is for families to come together for fun, games, creativity and worship. A cooked meal is served and everyone sits together to enjoy the hospitality. Messy Church@Fordingbridge will meet every month including the school summer holiday.

Allsorts family service is on the 1st Sunday of the month at 10:30am in St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge. Come and join us for a friendly, informal family service.

Children@StMary’s – is our group for children and young people that takes place in the North Chapel, during the 09:30 am service at St Mary’s Church, Fordingbridge. Children of all ages are welcome, little ones may want to bring their parent/carer with them. Children leave the service part way through and return in time for the Eucharist. There is a dedicated area with toys and games for families to enjoy at all times in the service.

Messy Church@Hyde is is a way of being church for families, involving fun, creativity, hospitality and celebration. Messy Church@Hyde is held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 3.30 pm at Hyde.

Youth Space is a relaxed and informal time for Young People (yr 7) and above in Hyde Church Community Centre at 4:30pm on the first Sunday of the month.

Young people are also welcome to join our choir and bellringers groups.
