  1. Anna Doran

    Hi,
I haven’t been to a Chrsitingle service before? What is it and is it suitable for my 17 month old?
    Thanks,
    Anna

    • Gary Philbrick

      Dear Anna,
      Yes – very suitable.
It’s a short Service, lots of people, during which we briefly tell the Nativity Story, and all the children get a Christingle Orange, with a candle in, which is lit (carefully supervised by parents!).
It’s very lovely, and very popular.
      Gary.

Hello, we would like to come to the Breamore Christmas Day communion but are then meeting the family. Please could you advise approximate duration of service? Thank you

    • Gary Philbrick

      Dear Ian,

You’ll all be most welcome – all ages welcome.
The Service starts at 11.00, will be something like 50 minutes.
      Okay?

      Best Wishes for Christmas,
      Gary.

Hello I’d like to come to the Christingle service at 4pm today. I have a 3.5 year old and 18 month old. Would you be able to tell me how long the service is please. They are very good but my little one won’t sit for too long!
    Many thanks

    • Gary Philbrick

      Dera Kelly,

It’s about 45 minutes, there’s lots of movement, and lots of children, dressing up for those who want, and so on.
So, do bring them along, and just relax and enjoy!
      HOpe to see you later.
      Gary.
